New hats! Sneak peaks

Firstly, apologies for the quietness on the blog front. I've been super busy these couple of weeks making new hats to debut in the Top-Model show coming up on 26th March! Thought I'd take a break though and share some tease shots of how the new hats are shaping up (partially coz taking breaks occasionally whilst working your bum off is a good idea, but more because sharing shiny things is fun!).

Golden earth fairy

I've been very naughty. We received some beautiful images from the amazingly talented Jade Starmore of Towzie Tyke photography and haven't had chance to share them with you until now.

Here you can see some of the incredible images Jade took using some of my headwear. GingerBread was fortunate enough to be found by Jade on the model mayhem site, and we're very lucky that she did!

The pieces used are Crown of Spirals and Autumn Spiral. I hope you enjoy them.

Here be new things

A pleasant way to start Monday morning (other than with a giant cup of coffee or an extra hour in bed) – I've just opened the GB inbox to discover a mail from the lovely people at Top Model, saying GingerBread now has its own profile page on their site! You can check it out here.

I promised I would show off the fascinator I made for myself to wear at the recent Designer Crafts at the Mall Show. Well, here it is:) I'm personally really pleased with how well it came out – it's interesting and a little bit different, yet also subtle and the same time! That and the gun-metal grey colours makes it totally versatile to go with most of my wardrobe.

I'm hoping to add this design to the Etsy shop in due curse, with the option of ordering it in any colour you like – keep your eyes peeled for it!
