GingerBread Blog - The Hostile Takeover edition

What's that you say? A blog update!? Check not your eyes, dear friends, for the GingerBread blog has been hijacked by the marketing team. No longer shall you be subject to only conceptual, design-ey rambling of the most abstract kind! No, now you can gorge yourself on adjectives, polysyllabic hyperbole and needlessly extravagant metaphor until you are fit to burst!

We've been as busy as springtime honeybees these last few weeks making sure that everything we do to make you smile banks three more ideas to turn it into a grin! First up, Post:Modern, GingerBread's 2010-2011 collection is being passed through dextrous, skilled fingers as we type! Obviously, marketing isn't allowed anywhere near an active design area (something about matter and antimatter colliding and wiping out the universe, I didn't fully understand it myself), but I'm reliably informed that somewhere out there, leaked teasers exist. Leasers, if you will.

Secondly, Catwalk London is picking up steam. Like a chugging, unstoppable powerhouse of excitement, GingerBread will be taking to the streets of London in August 2010 to deliver Post:Modern to the public. Our crew will visit 5 locations across the city to model and photograph the new collection, and we hope to see you along the way to get you involved. Hot news, as it comes off the press, will be printed on our Catwalk London page, as well as on twitter and facebook.

Thirdly, we'd like to say thank you to Caron at the Duck Pond Markets for being smiley and happy (not so hard in the beautiful weather today!). We loved the look of the place, we'll see you there next month, May 16th!

Finally, GingerBread shall be giving away free GingerBread money in the form out gift vouchers every week from May to August. I'd pop back here next week for more details and the chance to win the first, if I were you.

Well I rather think that's all for now, my scrummy pals. We shall be updating once weekly with news, wonderings and amusements, and hope that you will join us when you can, and tell others if you like what you see.

Love n hugs

Salesy Chris
